What are you trying to get by joining

its always been a goal for me to get noticed, and to see myself in an advertisement or in a magazine. that has been a goal since ever since I can remember. I also want to connect for networking purposes to get my career going. it would be wonderful if I could meet new photographers and designers in my area so possibly I could work with them. I am an amateur photographer myself, and love to do lots of photography with ambient lighting techniques. I've been told by modeling agencies and and agents themselves that I should pursue photography because of the photos I've showed them. but to start off, I want to check off the first goal off my list, and that is to see myself inside a publicized document/book and keep it as a memory to show for myself. and hopefully, it doesn't stop there.

I've graduated from Barbizon Modeling and Acting roughly a year ago now, and has slowly built up contacts within my own area consisting of fashion designers, professional photographers, fashion groups, makeup artists, and many other people inside the modeling world. I'm presently living in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and I'm 20 years old. I've taken the acting/modeling course within Barbizon, and is seeking to build up my talent and gain fundamental experience in these fields. I'm also excellent at doing makeup application, as my best friend is going to have me do all of her makeup for her wedding coming up. For example, when I go to professional photoshoots, I do all my makeup myself without having someone put it on for me professionally. Me knowing how to do all these things would cut back the costs of hiring people to work in a photoshoot. I'm also an amateur photographer, and I've been told by modeling agencies and agents themselves that I should pursue photography because of the photos I've produced and showed them. The style of modeling that I do best is commercial and high fashion. I'm also a pretty good singer too, and my style of singing is jazz.
